![]() So, frankly… there is a bunch of good things on Mountain Lion which I got used to after 18 months. Incidentally my newer MBP is just in for repair – the Mat shita DVD drive broke as usual :/ – and so I'm back on Snow Leopard for a while. Even the LC 475 "pizza box" from 1993 still ran happily with Mac OS 8.1 as of September 2014! Alas, no Interwebz, of course. ![]() ) Just recently I have checked all of my old Macs that I have accumulated over the years. And frankly, given that I have no plans to join Adobe's Creative Crap™ anytime soon, it will likely remain as is as long as one of my both MBP remains alive. Eventually I will likely set up a Yosemite partition to make use of a few of the new features, but I'm in no rush as long as none of the software I use to make a living requires it. I find 10.10 Yosemite great, not all changes are for the worse.Īctually I have even joined the Yosemite public beta program but in the end I didn't download and intstall it at all. Sadly, there's really no alternative except for iTunes itself. ![]() The way I'm using iTunes, having multiple playlists open in separate windows is a must. ITunes is important to me and 11 was a scary upgrade, but I got it to work exactly how I want it and lost no functionalityĪs long as they'll stick with the one-window-mode, I'm ultimately out.
